ST. GEORGE — The St. George community is mourning the loss of Kycie Terry, a 5-year-old girl who passed away Saturday after a valiant struggle with complications due to undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes.
To help the Terry family with funeral and medical expenses as well as raise awareness for Type 1 Diabetes, Christensen’s Department Store has teamed up with St. George News for the “Kisses for Kycie” fundraising event.
Monday through Sunday at all three Christensen’s locations, shop for a cause by purchasing a $25 gift card, valid on all merchandise, and 20 percent of the card’s purchase price will be donated to “Kisses for Kycie.”
Gift cards will be valid until Dec. 31, 2015.
Cash and credit card donations will also be accepted and 100 percent of the donations will go toward the cause.
