ST. GEORGE — The Virgin River Program recently announced the opening of the photo contest for the 2017 Virgin River Basin Calendar.
Professional and amateur photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate. Submissions should feature the Virgin River Basin, including – but not limited to – landscapes, wildlife and recreation. Each participant can enter a maximum of 10 photos.
Entries will be accepted through Sept. 15 on the Virgin River Program’s website. Winners will be notified via phone or e-mail by Nov. 1. Calendars will be available in early December.
The grand prize photo will be featured on the calendar’s cover, and the photographer will be awarded an iPod Touch.
