“Can you even imagine a better way to release the buildup of bad karma that’s got you down?” a press release for the Kayenta Acoustic Roots Music Art Fest stated.

“Just being outside (and inside) in one of the most heavenly places on earth while listening to live music, hanging with friends, sipping beverages and eating tasty food – it’s everything a body needs to feel all better.”

The KARMA Fest will feature six bands covering Western, bluegrass and folk music.

Headlining the festival is the Native Grass Band.

Other bands featured at the event include: Lacey & Drew, McLaughlin & Brashear: The Canyoneers, The Jon Stone Desert Duo, The Lindsey Short Band, and The Washburn Family Bluegrass Band.

The bands will be performing at the Center for the Arts at Kayenta, 880 Coyote Gulch Court in Ivins, Oct. 6, from 1-8 p.m.

Tickets are $30 and can be purchased here. Children 12 and under are free.
