Country music artist, Chris Petersen, gives benefit concert in Cedar City

CEDAR CITY – On Saturday, Feb. 28 2015 at 7:30 p.m., country music recording artist Chris Petersen and his full band will be giving a benefit concert at the Cedar City Elks Lodge, 111 East 200 North, Cedar City, for Karlee Hunter. The cost is only $5 at the door.

All proceeds go to benefit Karlee Hunter. Karlee was recently diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma and is receiving chemotherapy treatments at the Huntsman Cancer Center in Salt Lake City.

The Southern Utah community has rallied around this event. In addition to Chris and his band donating over $5,000 in costs and time. Countless Southern Utah businesses have donated money or auction items for the pre-concert auction. Chris will be donating $5 from every CD purchased at the event to Karlee’s medical costs.
